The greenhouse effect is the perfectly normal process that is essential to life – whereby a faction of the light reflected off of the earth’s surface is trapped by atmospheric greenhouse gases, to yield ideal climates for l ife.
Enhanced greenhouse effect refers to the addition of excess greenhouse gases to the atmosphere (i.e., from the combustion of fossil fuels which in particular releases a great deal of carbon dioxide) which in turn, causes more heat to be trapped inside the earth, leading to an increase in the global climate over time (global warming).

Wow that 1st answer was awesome, what more can you say… It always sadly surprises me that subjects like this receive very little response, and ones like do you like vanilla pudding or chocolate get like 386 responses. Ooh I’ve got it… takes alot more time, energy, and then people would maybe feel a little guilty that they do absolutely nothing to help the situation. I’m not trying to place a huge amount of guilt on everyday citizens, as I really feel it’s The Governments and leaders all around the world that need to educate & help us to change our destructive behavior patterns. There needs to be a higher cost of operations to companies and industries that continue to contribute to this huge problem.

What about naturally occurring gasses and particulates blasted into the air during volcanic eruptions? Forest fires ? How do we control these?
My point is nature causes more pollutants than humans ever have or ever will. Humans can kill themselves with pollution but the planet will always recover.
Nature causes global warming not humans.
