Question by shawntaelsey123: . What are the causes of increased greenhouse gases?
Best answer:

Anything that produces them.
Volcanoes, fossil fuel emissions of man, upwelling methane from the sea, cow farts,
>>edit>> (answer for “The question was “increased” so natural phenomenon does not count.” comment below)
So the natural phenomenon of a volcano spewing forth greenhouse gas locked up in the magma for eons or methane upwelling from the ocean floor, also locked up for eons, does not increase the amount of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere.
OK… Believe what you wish…
What do you think? Answer below!

Urbanization, industrialization, intensive industrial agriculture, melting of permafrost, inefficiency, poverty, and affluence. That should be it?
The question was “increased” so natural phenomenon does not count.

Anything that emits garbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, or other o-zone destructive gases: fossil-fuel-burning cars, coal-burning factories, forest fires, cigarettes… usually, it’s when you burn stuff that you get greenhouse gases.
In a large alarming porportion, Us humans, who,by burning fossil fuel’s and using other (green house) gases in our daily lives to complete a task in some refrigerating unit or some other job. we even cut down the lungs(tree’s) of the planet in a reckless careless fashion that is not sustainable, ironically we are the ones who are going to suffer the consequence’s,in the future or our children.
Burning of forests/farmlands – happening with more frequency & with more area size burnt each year
Industrial pollutants – many 3rd world & industialised nations are building more plants & factories with consideration for profits & not environmental issues
Emmissions from motorised vehicles – the numbers of which rise everyday.
The above 3 causes point back to the one & only one root cause – man & his lack of sensitivity to his environment.
