Do they produce heat, electricity, light, what? How do they help us? And is this right: wind gives electric power by turning turbines and solar power gives elecricity by absorbing the sun’s rays? Would absorbing the sun’s rays with solar panels reduce greenhouse gases? And are those sources even renewable? How?

Geothermal uses heat to turn a turbine
Wind turns a turbine
Water (dam, tidal, etc) turns a turbine
Solar the photons hit electrons and they move.
All the ones you mentioned are renewable because they aren’t a finite resource like coal.

I don’t believe they work any better than the blue/black ones. The reason that solar collectors are dark color is to absorb the most amount of light. Black color is composed of the whole color spectrum. In chemistry, blackbody means it absorbs all light falling on it and does not emit/reflect it back out. Basically if you have two room one lighter color and one dark color, you will notice that the lighter color room will appear brighter since light is being reflected. In a darker color room, the most of the light is being absorbed so it will appear dimmer. You’ll notice that solar calculators have the solar collector in dark color like black.

just get a lot of 5 gallon buckets and paint them black then fill them with water and stack them along the walls of the greenhouse below the plant shelves. Will accomplish the same thing and give you heat all night when you need it by soaking up the heat when you have too much and releasing it at night when you need it.
Save the doors for a cold frame for next spring and sell Vegetable plants.
