The Sun’s rays which are made up of primarily photons are able to make the million year journey to the surface of the sun only to flung into space another 8 minutes until they strike the surface of our planet . The problem is our atmosphere . While most of the harmful stuff is redirected around our orb by the magnetosphere , a lot of harmful stuff still strikes us every day . If we understood more the greenhouse effect then maybe more governments would set stricter limits on greenhouse gases . The best way I can think to describe the process is get in your car on a hot day , the interior is far hotter than the exterior because the rays travel through the glass and are trapped from exiting . This is what is happening essentially on a global scale no matter what the oil tycoons try to tell us . The build up of atmospheric gases from burning fossil fuels is blanketing out planet causing a runaway greenhouse effect to occur . We must switch to Hydrogen and electric vehicles now . But even so many climate scientists now believe it is too late anyways .

in just talking to mike here.Mike you are saying global warming is a big problem however you obviously havent studied any of the charts the charts of every company not gaining a profit from global warming only show a increase in cities which is expected due to the concrete etc trapping the suns heat.20 miles outside new york the temp. drops 5-10 degrees.And even then any temp. rise in other areas of the earth grab the charts for as far back as you can and youll see its actually part of pattern of rise and fall in temp that is always happening.In reality nothing those people you mention happens and if you would like to say how do i know my charts are correct they are nasa charts.
